Things I am Loving

My weekly Things I am Loving post! I’d love to hear about things you are loving or make your life easier!

This post contains links that I may receive a commission with the purchase of the product at no extra cost to you. As always these are things we use and love.

1. Zinus King Size Mattress

When we were getting ready to move I realized our bed was probably 20 years old so there was no way we were moving it. My son also typically ends up in our bed every night and for someone so small he takes up a lot of room. So we decided to go with a king mattress and they are not cheap. We almost went with one from Costco until I found this Zinus 12 inch King on Amazon for half the price. With almost 113,000 reviews and 4.5 stars, we couldn’t pass this deal up. And let me tell you this bed delivers. It is so comfortable. The price does fluctuate a lot (even during the day) so I would watch it until you get the best price.

2. Helmet

Ryan needed an upgrade on his helmet for our bike rides. This helmet comes in tons of colors and different sizes. I also love that it came with a second set of foam inserts that were thicker so you can make sure your child’s helmet fits correctly.

3. Welcome to the Museum

I was beyond excited to find this box set at Costco. We are starting a homeschool preschool with Ryan this year and our first unit is going to animals so I thought Animalium would be a great resource for us. The pictures are so beautiful and it is curated so wonderfully it really is like visiting a museum. If you can find it at Costco definitely grab but if not I linked them here on Target (Animalium & Botanicum) .

4. Reusable Gallon Size Freezer Bags

We use lots of plastic baggies. I like to buy and cook in bulk so I am always going through plastic bags. In an effort to reduce some of that waste I picked up these SPLF reusable silicone gallon size freezer bags and I am in love. They are thick, I can tell they are going to hold up, and have a great seal so they are leakproof and airtight. These would also be great for a million other things like toiletries for travel or a wet bag.

5. Joie Crinkle Cutter

Ryan LOVES to help in the kitchen and this Crinkle Cutter is my favorite tool for him to help cut up things. It’s the perfect size for kid’s hands, cuts through all fruits and veggies, and makes them wavy. This is a great way to get kids involved in the kitchen or keep them busy while you prep the rest of the meal.

6. Reusable Silicone Straws

I love silicone straws. For some reason I find myself drinking more water with them. For some reason, we’ve miss placed a majority of ours so I decided to pick up some more. These are great for the price. Six straight and six bent (which I never knew I needed until now), plus 2 straw brushes. These are perfect for smoothies and getting in the water we should all be drinking.
