Headed to the snow for Christmas 🎄 ❄️⛄️

Homeschool by the pool 🌞 We’re working on our

Homeschool by the pool 🌞 We’re working on our letter sounds. These foam letters in the pool have been a big hit. We put the letters up on the tile and take turns calling out letters and letter sounds for each other to find. To take it a step up I started calling out words emphasizing the first letter sound and Ryan had to pick out the letter. We’ve had lots of fun. I wish I started this sooner in summer but I think it will be a great bathtub activity when it’s too cold to go outside.

We started our Geology unit study this week and we’ve been having so much fun already. After reading a couple rock books and looking at this rock and mineral field guide Ryan made some rocks of his own. He especially loves crystals so he had to include those. The next few weeks are going to be a lot of fun and then we will move on to dinosaurs.
